Series 2018 - ongoing
Glazed ceramic, photoceramic decal.
Winner project of JaguArt roadshow, Rome leg, 2020.
Tachilalia is a series of ceramics that depicts receipts from supermarkets where the artist has made purchases. The receipt is scanned, and the letters of the articles’ names are digitally shifted to create a text or poem through an anagram.
Not programming what she writes, the fun lies in composing without thinking, instinctively, to see what comes out. The title, Tachilalia, is the scientific name given to an alteration of language characterised by accelerated, agitated speaking, which leads one to ‘eat one’s words’, not finishing them or skipping syllables.
