The Zero gradi Frozen yogurt ice-cream parlor is a set-up created and performed by Camilla Gurgone and Nicola Petruzzi. The name of their business is a play on words: 0° is the temperature needed to produce ice cream, but also a reference to the shortening of the distance between the real and the fictitious.
During the performance, the artists, disguised as ice-cream vendors, invite the audience to buy their own Frozen Yogurt, customizable with toppings and garnishes of choice. Each element that makes up the ice cream is highly realistic, to the point of not appearing fake in the eyes of the participant: the audience is left straddling between perplexity and enthusiasm, undecided between what they believe and what they see.
